We-Bills ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our invoicing and accounting platform.

2.1 Account Data: Name, email address, company name, VAT number (if provided), phone number, billing address.

2.2 Financial Data: Invoice details, expense records, payment transactions, bank account information (if connected), tax identifiers.

2.3 Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device information, access logs, feature usage statistics, cookies and similar technologies.

2.4 Client Data: Names, emails, and addresses of your clients that you add to the platform (you are the data controller for this data).

Active accounts: Data retained for the duration of your subscription plus 7 years (tax record requirement).

Cancelled accounts: After account closure, personal data is deleted within 30 days, except for anonymized usage statistics and legally required financial records.

Backups: Daily automated backups retained for 30 days.
