1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules and restrictions governing the use of the We-Bills platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use We-Bills or our Services to engage in any of the following activities:

2.1 Illegal Activities

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law, regulation, or ordinance
  • Facilitate or promote illegal transactions, including money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Evade sanctions imposed by the European Union, United States, United Nations, or other applicable authorities
  • Process payments for illegal goods, services, or activities

2.2 Fraud and Deception

  • Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading business practices
  • Create fake invoices, estimates, or financial documents for deceptive purposes
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Use stolen or unauthorized payment methods

2.3 Harmful Content and Security

  • Transmit malware, viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
  • Conduct denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorization

2.4 Abuse and Harassment

  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate any person
  • Send unsolicited spam, bulk emails, or other unwanted communications
  • Distribute hate speech, defamatory content, or content that promotes violence

2.5 Intellectual Property Violations

  • Infringe on patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights
  • Distribute pirated software, media, or other unauthorized copyrighted materials

3. Restricted Business Categories

We-Bills may not be used by businesses or individuals involved in the following categories, regardless of legality in your jurisdiction:

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
  • Weapons, firearms, explosives, or hazardous materials
  • Gambling, betting, or lottery services (unless fully licensed in all applicable jurisdictions)
  • Adult content, escort services, or sexually oriented businesses
  • Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, or Ponzi schemes
  • Counterfeit goods, replica products, or unauthorized brand merchandise
  • Debt collection agencies using harassing or illegal practices
  • Any activity prohibited by Stripe, Paddle, or applicable card network rules (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)

4. User Content and Data

You are solely responsible for all content, data, and information you upload, store, create, or share through We-Bills. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to such content and that it does not violate this AUP or any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates this AUP without prior notice.

5. Resource Usage

You may not use our Services in a manner that unreasonably degrades performance for other users, including:

  • Excessive API calls or automated requests beyond reasonable usage limits
  • Hosting or distributing large files unrelated to invoicing or accounting
  • Running unauthorized scripts, bots, or scrapers on our platform

6. Enforcement and Consequences

Violation of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

  • Warning and request for immediate remediation
  • Temporary suspension of your account and access to Services
  • Permanent termination of your account without refund
  • Reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
  • Legal action to recover damages, costs, and attorney fees
  • Publication of your business name in connection with enforcement actions (where legally permitted)

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it immediately to:

Please include as much detail as possible, including URLs, usernames, and a description of the violation. We will investigate all reports promptly and confidentially.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. It is your responsibility to review this AUP periodically.
